Janet Erlick Executive Artistic Director Janet is the Executive Artistic Director of award-winning Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre where she oversees both the administrative and artistic components of the theatre. She has been in that position since 1999 and has worked at the theatre since 1990. She teaches, directs and acts in the community and developed the theatre’s comprehensive outreach program that now serves over 32,000 people each year. That program includes A Bridge From Me to You conflict resolution and character education program for public school fifth graders, From Page to Stage in-school literacy program and an Arts Infusion Program for classroom teachers to learn how to infuse the arts across the academic curriculum. She created partnerships with many cultural and social service organizations throughout South Florida. In one such partnership, she facilitates creative expression workshops for Deliver the Dream, a respite and retreat program for families dealing with a terminal illness. Janet also works with special needs and at-risk populations, leading workshops at mental health facilities, residence centers for juvenile offenders, and independent living programs. Currently, she serves as the Chair of Broward County’s Cultural Executives Committee and as a member of the Cultural Council of Broward. She is a Leadership Broward graduate and is active on many of their committees. A former recipient of the City of Hope Businesswoman of the Year Award, Janet is Past-President of the Florida Theatre Conference and former board member of the Florida Association of Theatre Education and Ancestral Legacies in addition to serving as a member of the Advisory Council for Justice for Children and Families and chairing the Multicultural Infusion Cultural Enrichment Language Advisory Council of the School Board of Broward County. This year we are celebrating
Janet’s 20th anniversary with FLCT! Janet currently serves as our Executive Artistic Director, although she has served the Theatre in many capacities

Managing Director
Sean Cutler Managing Director Sean served as a Company Manager and General Manager for several
Off Broadway shows including The Donkey Show, The Karaoke Show,
American Rhapsody: Songs of The Gershwins, and Jacques Brel is Alive
and Well and Living In Paris, and he was a member of the management
team of Blue Man Group's NYC production of Tubes. He was also the
Managing Director of the award-winning Colony Theatre Company in Los
Angeles. Sean holds degrees in Film and TV Production as well as
Political Science from New York University and is a graduate of The New
World School of the Arts in Miami. Sean also serves as a teacher,
director, and lighting designer for FLCT.

Patti Meyers Education and Outreach Coordinator Patti has a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Denver and studied professionally with Stella Adler. She is a member of the Screen Actor's Guild and Actor's Equity. Patti has directed many shows at FLCT, including The Wizard of Oz, Anne Frank and Me; Once Upon a Mattress, Annie and Beauty and the Beast. She teaches the Bridge and Page outreach programs, in addition to supervising the acting classes and directing at the theatre.

Business Manager
Jennifer Pedraza Business Manager Jennifer earned a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre for Young
Audiences from University of Central Florida, where she focused equally
on teaching theatre and theatre administration. A produced
playwright/director, Jennifer's Pocket Full of Gifts script was presented at the Orlando Repertory Theatre, as well as her adaptation of Rumpelstiltskin's Daughter at
Lexington Children's Theatre. She served as a teaching artist at
professional theatres around the nation including Lexington Children's
Theatre, Orlando Repertory Theatre, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Round
House Theatre, and Fantasy Theatre Factory.

Production Manager:
Scott Sherven Production Manager Scott is an alumnus of Broward Community College and is proud to be with Fort Lauderdale Children's Theatre as Production Manager. Scott also contributes to FLCT as Facilities Manager, graphic designer, teacher, and camp director. As one of FLCT's resident directors, Scott has been at the helm of many productions including Disney's The Jungle Book Kids , Cinderella , and The Early Adventures of Santa Claus , which he also adapted. Scott is very proud to have participated in several Deliver the Dream retreats as a facilitator and volunteer. Over the past eleven years Scott has acted, directed, designed and stage-managed with many theatre companies in the South Florida. Scott's one-man show "Out With Norm" debuted at Art Serve in Fort Lauderdale.

Education Specialist/Outreach Associate
Ed Zeltner Education Specialist/Outreach Associate Ed graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts major
in theatre and a minor in English. After graduation, Ed moved to Chicago where
he studied improvisation with the Annoyance Theatre. His improvisational work
spans the spectrum of games, long-form and sketch techniques. As an actor, Ed
appeared with the Irish Rep. Theater, Annoyance and the Acrosstown Rep.
throughout the Chicago area. He has also appeared in numerous commercials and
studied stage combat as well. Through FLCT, Ed also teaches at Conservatory

Ron Hutchins Director/Choreographer
Ron's performance career has taken him across the country and he has been honored to perform in major regional theatres from the Goodman in Chicago to Fords Theatre in Washington, DC. He has directed and choreographed national tours of Disney's Aida, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat, and Footloose. Ron was twice nominated for Jeff Awards in Chicago and won the Carbonell Award for his production of Five Guys named Mo. Ron is currently the Artistic Director of Destined to Dance.
Charles Reynolds Choreographer Charles is trained in all forms of dance including ballroom styles such as smooth, rhythm, latin and theatre arts. Further dance training in hip-hop, funk, modern jazz and lyrical modern. National awards presented by "Showstopper" and "Starpower" in choreography, performance, and costuming. Over the years, Charles has worked with Cher, Juliet Prowse, June Taylor, Don Shula, Dan Marino, the Miami Dolphins, and the Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders.
Tyler Smith Set Designer Tyler's experience as an art director and special effects designer
has taken him through the worlds of television, feature film and
special effects. His work has been seen on the Tonight Show with Jay
Leno, Nickelodeon, MTV, Showtime and in Paramount, Touchstone, Columbia
and Zenith films. Areas of expertise include sculpture, special
effects makeup and robotic
