Using simple scripts and poems as a springboard for dramatization, students will explore how to bring the written word to life on stage. The actor’s tools of voice, body, imagination, concentration and cooperation will begin to be developed through acting exercises and theatre games. End-of-session showcases may be filmed (virtual) or in-person. Check with your teacher each session.

Creative Drama – Broward College (Pre-K4 – 1st Grade)
Utilizing creative play, our youngest students explore the range of their imaginations through theatre games, music, movement, and children’s literature, this program is ideal to help children develop self confidence, focus, and teamwork as they enhance creativity and problem‐solving skills. End-of-session showcases may be filmed (virtual) or in-person. Check with your teacher each session.

Performance Project – Broward College (Grades 2-8)
Performance Project takes students on the complete journey of putting on a show. The process begins with mock auditions and culminates in the performance of a one‐act play or musical. Along the way, class activities focus on character development and script analysis through work on a specific play or musical. Performance Project provides students with the opportunity to expand their performing talents and every student gets a part in the show. The final production will be performed for friends and family with costumes, lights and sets.
For Performance Project classes, we offer two payment options: 1) Payment in full can be made at the time of sign-up, or 2) you can make a 50% deposit at the time of sign-up, with the balance due prior to the first day of class. if you choose to make a deposit, the final payment can be made through the “Shop” link in the upper right hand corner of our website, or by clicking here.

Jumping Jellybeans Circus – Broward College (4-8 year olds)
An introductory class of basic age-appropriate circus skills for our younger students.

Circus Troupe: Sands of Eternity – Broward College (Grades 2 and up)
Ever dream of running away to join the circus? Now you can when you audition to be a part of FLCT’s Circus Troupe. This performance based troupe will work on strength, flexibility, spatial and aerial awareness, all while having fun learning new skills with your friends. Students will train in tumbling, acrobatics, and juggling. The show will be comprised of aerial acts (silks, hoop, lira, web, etc) as well as ground acts (juggling, clowning, contortion, trampoline, tumbling, etc.) and will be performed in late March 2023 with an optional spring tour to follow.

Voice privates and monologue coaching is available through RLS Studios at both of our locations. Prices may vary for RLS coachings.
