Acting 2 – Broward College (Grades 3-5)
What does it take to be an actor? The focus of this class is formulating a clear understanding of the skills and techniques involved in the actor’s work. Each class begins with exercises and theatre games designed to expand the actor’s toolkit to improve performance quality. Students also work on text-based lessons including monologues, commercials, and scenes – learning to bring the written word to the stage through character development, analysis and interpretation. End-of-session showcases will be held during class on the final day of each session.
